Yes, we only spent around $100.00 per child. I'm with you, they have so much already - why not keep it to a minimum while they are small? The time will come that they will want more expensive presents.

I am gonna try to do all handmade gifts for birthdays this year. If I get really adventurous, I might even try handmaking the cards.

You had quite a crowd! I am taking it easy today after celebrating three Christmases in three different places within 24 hours. It is so much fun, but I am loving -- and needing -- the down time now. But I must make myself get up and clean house.

You cake plates turned out cute, and I love the addition of the spreader.
