Thanks to all of you who were concerned about my mother. She was in the hospital for a few days and is out now. We are still not sure what the exact issue was with her. She had been having episodes of collapsing and actually lost consciousness a few times. The neurologist told us that it appears she may have had a TIA but the real issue may be with her heart and not getting enough oxygen to her brain. She will be wearing a heart monitor for a few weeks to be safe. It may have been as simple as a reaction to a recent change in blood pressure medication.
Thanks for your prayers.

Glad she's home, and I hope that the tests will show a treatable problem! My Grandaddy is in the hospital this weekend, too, but is doing OK. Just part of reaching such a "ripe ole age"
Heidi, glad to hear she is doing better! Hope it was all just a change in meds. We will keep her in our prayers!
