LOOK at this cake.....

I have a friend who can do just about anything. She (I helped a little) did Sean's Toy Story cake last year. You may also know her as the lady Lily models for, "Mrs. Julia" a very multi talented and just all around sweet person.

Anyway, I think I may have finally found Julia's weekness. I am planning a Star Wars party for Sean's birthday and Sean has decided that he wants a Yoda cake. We found a picture of a cake and showed it to her.....she was not exactly sure about it. HA!

hmmmmm, I wonder about the talented Mrs Lester????

While I have some extra time on my hands here in the hospital and to get my mind off of missing my kiddos I will be working on some party details and designing his invitation. It is a little joke about the cake though. He really, really does want this cake. I think it looks creepy! Ha..

I was thinking of doing something a little easier like maybe cupcakes in a row (light saber) and making them grey and lime green. Tell me what ya'll think. Any ideas?

Willy would love this cake!! I am going to be like you, and hunt down the worlds coolest things. :) Are you going to invite family, and all his little friends from last year? Hope you are not going crazy in that room. LOL. Looking back on it I still can't believe I spent close to 6 weeks in a hospital room. It can drive you bananas. :) Hang in there. We will be glad to have you guys back.

I know great ways to make cool cakes that look great and are easy. You can buy Star Wars characters and put them on a multilevel cake. Then Sean will have the toys to play with afterwards. I did this for a friend for Finding Nemo, Amy for Tinkerbell, Ricky for Barney and Bob the Builder, and Isaac for a Tiedyed Hawaian Luau cake. Everyone thought they were professional, but I made them.

love the cake but with little ones, I vote for the cupcakes :) and yes, I think we are kindred souls. I look forward to getting together with you for a lunch and learning from what you've been through!
